Kiwis love to fly!

Even though it is tough times in the tourism industry right now, we have been heartened by the number of kiwis taking a heli adventure with us over summer. For many it was their first time in a helicopter and their excitement at this exhilarating experience was written all over their faces – making our jobs even more rewarding.

Our Abel Tasman Experience has been so popular, one of our pilots now calls it his second home. It’s also been fantastic to be involved in weddings, birthday surprises, proposals, work parties, heli bike adventures, lodge transfers, winery tours, reef fishing and drop offs for hunters and hikers. We’ve had well-behaved hunting dogs and precious rare native birds onboard. We’ve had unprecedented interest in our trial flights – they made great Christmas gifts for many budding pilots or those just wanting to tick off a bucket list item.

It’s been our pleasure to showcase our beautiful backyard and to be a part of making special memories for kiwi families. Out of lockdowns and border restrictions, more and more kiwis are choosing experiences over stuff. Thank you for supporting us and for choosing to fly with our family-owned, locally-owned business.
